These terms apply to the Moto Zero website and course material. By using the site you accept them. They are written to be read: if anything is unclear, ask.
Moto Zero is an open educational programme of Transitions Lab. It explains how motorcycles work and how they are inspected, diagnosed and repaired. It is a learning resource, not a service manual for any particular machine and not professional advice.
Text, course plates, 3D models, renders and the interactive tools are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence (CC BY-SA 4.0). You may copy, adapt and share them, including commercially, if you give credit (“Moto Zero, Transitions Lab, CC BY-SA 4.0”) and release adaptations under the same licence.
Procedures, job sheets and reference values are general guidance. Specifications differ between machines, so always follow the manufacturer’s service manual for the motorcycle in front of you, including its torque settings, service limits and safety instructions. Use suitable protective equipment and tools.
The traction systems of electric motorcycles operate at voltages that can kill. Work on high-voltage components must only be carried out by people trained and authorised for it, following the manufacturer’s isolation procedure. Module 05 explains the principles; it does not qualify anyone to do the work.
The values in the Overview, Cockpit, Wiring Lab and other interactive tools are teaching approximations. They show how systems behave, not the exact figures of a particular motorcycle, and must not be used for design, setup or diagnosis of a real machine.
The material is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
